You need this palette in you life. I promise. The Make-up Revolution Golden Sugar Palette contains three stunning blushes, two perfect highlighters, two great contour shades and a golden shade that makes a gorgeous eye look. And it’s only nine euros! In this blog I am creating a make-up look with this amazing palette. So if you want to know what you can do with the Make-up Revolution Golden Sugar 2 Gold Palette, then keep on reading!
I only recently discovered Make-up Revolution. It is a drugstore make-up brand, with extremely affordable make-up. You might think “how can it be any good if it’s so cheap?” (that’s what I thought at first). But everything looked so pretty, so curiosity got the best of me and I tried a couple of their products. And I am a fan! So obviously I have to share it with you guys!
All about that Base
For foundation I used my L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation. And for concealer I relied on the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. Two of my drugstore favorites! I used my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to blend the foundation and the concealer into my skin. And then I set my face with my trusted Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder.
Time to Play!
Yeah, so I told you guys I love this palette right? It’s just one of those make-up products that inspire you, no, seduce you, to do your make-up. This palette is a freaking make-up Siren. I use the three pink shades as a blush, the two lighter shades as highlighters (one pink toned, one gold toned) and the two matte shades on the right as contour shades. The (stunning!!) golden shade on the bottom I will use on my eyes.
Contour, Blush, Highlight!
There is not much to say about this step: everything just works. The contour is the right shade, not muddy, not orange. The blushes are fresh, subtle and glowy. The highlighters give that “glow from within” vibe. All in one palette. I am definitely bringing this on our trip to Curacao.
Let the Eyes Smizeee
In the picture above ^ you can see which shades I used where to create a warm, golden, sunny eye look. I used my brow kit from Make-up Revolution to fill in my brows. My left brow was being stubborn as always. Forget being sisters, they weren’t even from the same planet today, but we pull through. My mascara is the L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara, which I love!
Let’s go Nude for 3 Bucks
The Make-up Revolution lipsticks are so inexpensive! I have never seen lipsticks this cheap. I am used to buying lipsticks in the range of 20-50 euros. So obviously I thought these 2-5euro lipsticks couldn’t be any good. But they actually are! I found some beautiful shades that last a good couple of hours and smell like Australian Gold sunscreen, which I love. For this look I am wearing the shade The One. Hope you like the finished look!
