What I am Wearing: Citymom | August

Today on the blog I am showing you one of my favorite outfits to wear when I am out and about in the city. I love the contrast between the flowy, feminine skirt and the casual top. I’m combining these items with some comfortable booties that are both cool and chic. A nice bag and a good pair of sunglasses finish the look. Curious? Come and have a look at my new segment “What I am Wearing”, that’s starting off with this citymom look!

I love combining different styles in one outfit. The casual Vans top, tied and cropped in the front, is the complete opposite of the white, flowy, feminine skirt. Yet they are the perfect combo for a day out in the city. The skirt is by Ralph Lauren; it’s a layered skirt made from viscose.

The shoes are my beloved See by Chloe boots. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. Booties are a must have if you are out and about shopping and running errands. I love that they are cool, but still chic, because of the smooth leather, the timeless style and the minimal details. Boots like this will last you a life time, because they are high quality and never go out of style.

The thing that finishes off the look for me is the bag. This is one of my absolute favorite handbags: it looks so high end, but it is Ted Baker. So even though it is really good quality and not cheap by any means, it’s still within the affordable range of designer handbags. It fits quite a lot, which is a must for this mama and the pink leather and golden details are everything! Of course I’m not leaving the house without my Prada sunglasses, because this citymom may look put together, she is still one tired mama.
