The last Empties post of 2018! I have a lot of beauty- trash for you today. A bit more than usual, because I have also added in a couple of baby- empties. Natural baby products I’ve been using and loving for Alela. Most of what is featured in this blogpost is cruelty free skincare. And almost all of the products are 100% natural and environmentally friendly.
Natural Baby Empties
[easy-image-collage id=22079]Aquaint Baby Wipes: I talked – nope, raved – about the Aquaint sanitizing water in this review. That is a product every parent and caretakers needs in their house, car and purse!! Aquaint also has 100% natural and biodegradable baby wipes. They are less firm than WaterWipes, because they are 100% biodegradable and WaterWipes only 20%. So for me that makes them a little less convenient to use, but they are better for the environment.
Waterwipes: I’ve mentioned this before, but WaterWipes are our favorite baby wipes. 99,9% water and 100% natural. They are soft yet firm and they don’t dry out. We always get them in bulk and have them delivered to our house, which is just so convenient. We get them here.
Laveen: These are 100% natural vitamin D drops. Love them. Alela loves them. Yes, we will keep using them for sure! I’ve already repurchased them here.
Zarqa: I like Zarqa, it’s a lovely natural and cruelty free skincare brand. But it doesn’t have that WOW factor for me. It is a good and safe choice: especially if you have sensitive skin. But if I compare it to brands like Weleda, Dr. Hauschka, Mukti, Marina Miracle and Eco by Sonya it just never comes out on top. There is nothing wrong with this baby oil: I used it for Alela’s baths and it made her skin o so soft. But I won’t repurchase, because I like Weleda baby oil better.
Naïf: Another brand I like whenever I receive it – it’s natural, no chemicals, affordable, cruelty free skincare – but I don’t buy it myself. As with Zarqa, I just don’t enjoy the way it smells. And scent is just a very important factor for me!
Make-up Empties
Maybelline: I finally found a natural and cruelty free alternative for this fiber brow gel. Granted, my new Lavera brow gel doesn’t have color or fibers in it, but it is still freaking amazing. So I finally got rid of my all time fave – but not cruelty free – brow product and I’m very happy about it!
Beautyblender: I love Beautyblenders – they are the best beauty sponges out there. Sometimes makeup sponges are all I want to use to apply my foundation and then there are months where I feel it takes too much time. I am currently using a makeup sponge from Benecos, which is a greener option and also a lot more affordable.
Bel Nature: These cotton pads are made from 100% organic cotton. The packaging is also made from biodegradable materials. I use them to take off my makeup and to apply toner. I like them a lot and repuchase them with our monthly order at the Online Drogist. I do want to start using reusable cotton pads too!
Cruelty Free Skincare Empties
[easy-image-collage id=22080]SIMPLE as that: You need this product and this brand in your life. It is brilliant, simple as that! If you want to know why check out my 5 Amazing All Natural Face Cleansers blogpost!
Marina Miracle: Another natural brand I feel very passionate about. The Herbal Face Oil is my absolute fave – o that smell! – but I loved the Argan Night Serum as well. You can not go wrong with Marina Miracle and perfect for sensitive, acne prone or eczema skin.
Dr. Hauschka: You all know I Love Dr. Hauschka. It is one of my favorite natural and cruelty free skincare brands and favorite natural makeup brand. They get me, they get my skin, they know how to transform my tired mom face into something presentable. I love the smell and feel of this toner, I just wish it didn’t come in a spray.
Milky Dress: This is probably the coolest mask I have ever tried. It is a magnetic mask made with mud from the Dead Sea. It is so much fun to use: you take it off with a magnet. Check out my review on the Milky Dress here. After using up the jar I can also promise you it is not a gimmick: it made my skin soft and radiant.
Natural Every Day Products
Natural Deodorants: I have two natural deodorant empties and I loved them both. I have mentioned Salt of the Earth many times before: the Pure Aura roll on is the most effective natural deodorant I have ever used. But this Urtekram roll on deodorant, in the scent Rose smells soooo good! I loved using it even though it is not as long lasting.
Weleda: Weleda is one of those brands that is just everywhere in our house. We easily use at least 10 different Weleda products every single day. One of those products is this Rathania toothpaste, which is the best natural toothpaste I have tried so far (and I have tested maaaaany). Another daily fave is the Weleda Lavender shower cream.
