Empties Part 12: What (not) to buy next

For the first time in my Empties – history, this blogpost contains only products I love and recommend. There have simply been no misses these past couple of weeks! Everything is cruelty free and contains natural ingredients. The brands are environmentally conscious and gentle for your skin. Come have a look at my trash of summer beauty products, to see what skincare and haircare products you should buy next!

Why is it that conditioner always runs out before shampoo? Too annoying. But still, amazing products. I love the Goij Berry shampoo from Hair O’ right and the Invati shampoo from Aveda. Hair O’right is a super environmentally conscious brand, that I’ve been loving for quite a while. And even though Aveda is owned by Estee Lauder, they are still considered a cruelty free brand. I prefer the Aveda smell over the Hair O’ right shampoo. But Hair O’right is a way greener option and also more affordable.

One of my all time favorite hair oils is the Treatment from Moroccan Oil. A little goes a super long way (it took me a year to finish this bottle) and I also use it on Isaya’s hair. She hates it when I comb her hair, but with a little bit of oil it not only becomes more of a ritual for her, it’s also a lot less painful. This oil smells amazing!

I talked about the NaΓ―f products in my previous empties post. A natural brand, founded by two dads. Isaya is currently using Alphanova, but we definitely loved this NaΓ―f Nourishing Shampoo!

We’ve been testing quite a few sunscreens over the past couple of months. Ladival is one of them and we definitely like it a lot. It doesn’t leave a white cast, even though it doesn’t contain chemical filters. It does take a while to start working (the Weleda sunscreen works instantly, which is perfect if you have small kids that don’t feel like waiting), but it is super easy application.

I talked about my Sukin Cleanser and Jacob Hooy Rosewater in my Spring/ Summer Skincare Routine (Dutch). Both amazing, natural products, that I highly recommend. The Sukin cleanser is very gentle. Both products are super affordable.

Who doesn’t love Rituals? Because it is so fragranced it’s super accessible for a lot of people. Their packaging is very lovely and they make amazing gifts. And, like all the brands in this blogpost, they are cruelty free. The Ritual of Sakura is one of our favorite fragrances and this bodycrΓ¨me is heaven!
